A SUSPECTED car thief will appear before a crown court jury after being charged in connection to various incidents in Oldbury.
Sean O’Connor, aged 29, was arrested by police on Tuesday morning (September 4) and has since been charged with two counts of attempted car thefts and two counts of car theft.
Officers were called to Hollyoake Close at about 2.30am on Tuesday following reports of a vehicle being broken into by up to three men.
The men fled as cops swiftly arrived at the scene, before the officers and a police dog searched the area.
Following his arrest, O’Connor, of Griffiths Road in West Bromwich, appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court on Wednesday (September 5), where he gave a not guilty plea.
He will remain in custody before appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on October 3.
