A BLACK Country wrestler is hosting a charity show in Halesowen.
The show will see WWE NXT UK stars Dan Moloney, Millie McKenzie and Roy Johnson climb into the ring at Benjamin’s on Friday, October 19.
Starting at 7pm, the show has been organised by professional wrestler Alex Talbot in a bid to raise £1,200 for male mental heath charity CALM.
Alex, of Rowley Regis, said: “I’ve decided to raise money for CALM as they share the same demographic as typical wrestling fans - men aged 12-45.
“There is such a stigma around male suicide and depression that I thought enough was enough.”
In addition to raising money for a good cause, Alex said crowds can expect “a full force experience from some of the best and hungriest young talent in the world”.
Tickets for the show cost £10 for adults, £6 for children or £25 for a family of four.
They can be purchased online via www.justgiving.com/Wrestling-For-CALM?utm_id=124 or directly from Benjamin’s in Birmingham Street.
