PEOPLE can join a weekend of walks to celebrate Stourbridge HF Rambling Club’s 65th anniversary.
Guests are invited to turn up at the meeting points and join in the 4.5 mile walks this Saturday (October 6).
Walks have been organised in Wordsley, Amblecote and Kinver with people advised to wear good walking shoes and bring a drink and snack.
The Wordsley walk will meet on the corner of Mill Street and Plant Street while the Kinver walk will meet at the Rock Houses Car Park, Compton Road, both at 9.30am.
They are expected to finish at 12.30pm.
The Amblecote walk will meet at the car park on Collis Street, on the left after the Robin Hood pub, at 2pm and the walk will finish at approximately 4.30pm.
No dogs are allowed and children aged under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
Stourbridge HF Rambling Club was established in 1953 and now boasts nearly 300 members offering six walks a week.
Throughout its 65 year history, it has put on over 8,000 walks covering over 62,000 miles.
Membership costs £8 per annum subscription as well as a £6 initial joining fee.
