CHRISTMAS is coming and people are invited to get into the festive spirit at Wordsley's Red House Glass Cone.

The Camp Hill visitor attraction will again be hosting the Christmas Tree Festival which gets underway on Sunday November 18.

Groups and businesses are invited to provide their own uniquely decorated trees for the display to help turn the cone into a winter wonderland.

The trees will also help raise money for the Mayor of Dudley's three chosen charities through donations.

The Christmas Tree Festival is free to enter and everyone in the community is welcome to take part.

Cllr Keiran Casey, cabinet member for tourism, said: "We held the first Christmas Tree Festival at the cone last year and it was a huge success.

"It encouraged creativity from local schools, groups and businesses and I would encourage local people to take part."

The cone is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm. Admission is free.
