KINVER Rotary Club’s Santa and sleigh are set for their first outing of the season this week.

The group’s festive sleigh tours of the village and surrounding towns are a popular seasonal treat for young and old alike.

The fundraising outings also result in a welcome boost for a host of good causes and charities in the new year after donations are totalled up.

This year – Rotary club members will be taking Santa and his sleigh on a tour through the streets of Kinver and beyond starting on Friday November 30 and after their successful first visit to new housing development Doulton Brook in Wollaston they have also now extended the route to take in nearby Richardson Drive.

Santa’s sleigh will now visit both locations on Thursday December 13 to help spread some festive cheer and coin in the cash for charity.

The sleigh will also make a return visit to Aldi in Kingswinford on Saturday December 15 and will be stopping off at Mary Stevens Hospice’s Santa Jog in Mary Stevens Park on Saturday December 9.
