STAFF at Glan Clwyd Radiology department have paid thanks for some novel Christmas decorations.
This year, volunteers and staff gave their time to shop, dress and finalise festive doors throughout the unit as Gingerbread houses, Snowmen - and even the Grinch - to create a winter wonderland for patients.
They also created a special Christmas tree for patients and relatives to decorate with their wishes.
Helen Heath, Radiology office supervisor said: "We would like to thank all the staff for their hard work in spreading festive cheer this Christmas.
"At this time of year, it's more important to spread goodwill and lighten the mood when for patients who may be in hospital over the Christmas period."
"We would also like to thank Mr Bevans Abergele, for their kind donation towards the Christmas items, Wilkinson and Denman gas and heating engineers and our boss Vicky, without whom these donations this would not have been possible.
"The staff all enjoyed doing this it was good team building for them all and it put us all in the Christmas spirit."
