TRAIN passengers may face delays and cancellations on their way home this evening after two tragic deaths on the railway lines today (Wednesday).

A person died after being hit by a train at Stourbridge Junction Railway Station this morning and another person has died in a train incident at Adderley Park railway station to the east of Birmingham.

All services between Kidderminster and Cradley Heath and between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town have been affected by the tragedy at Stourbridge which happened at 11.11am. Services have since resumed but passengers may face delays of up to 60 minutes and possible cancellations.

Rail lines between Birmingham New Street and Northampton were also blocked this afternoon after one person died and another was seriously injured at Adderley Park railway station.
