A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to Aintree Hospital this morning with serious injuries after a collision with a lorry.
Fire crews and paramedics were called shortly before 6am today, Tuesday to Kingsland Grange in Woolston to reports of a casualty trapped underneath a lorry.
One fire engine from Lymm and one from Birchwood attended in addition to the major rescue unit and support pump from Winsford.

Crews helped to extract the casualty from underneath the lorry before handing them into the care of paramedics.

The casualty was then taken to Aintree Hospital.
