TWO people were slashed with a knife during disorder in Stourbridge town centre this morning (February 24).
The incident took place on Church Street just before 2.30am this morning.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault after running off from officers. He is now in custody.
The knife was also seized by police.
The two people are thought to have received minor injuries.
Chief Supt Sally Bourner from the Dudley team, said: “We will not let up on our fight against knife crime.
“I’d like to thank the quick-thinking members of the public who thought to call police when they noticed someone standing with a knife and ultimately prevented someone else being injured.”
