Wollaston concert will mark International Women's Day

WOMEN'S choir Grace Notes will be celebrating International Women's Day with a musical concert at St James's Church in Wollaston.

The choir will be joined by Ayaki Davies on piano and soprano Hannah McFarland (pictured below) for the event taking place on Friday March 8 from 7.30pm.

The evening will comprise a varied programme of music, mostly composed by women.

Tickets are available in advance for £8 by calling 01299 825621 or on the door, priced £10.

All proceeds will go to CAMFED (the Campaign for female education) - which offers education to girls in impoverished communities around the world.
