A PEDESTRIAN suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car in Halesowen yesterday.

Two men were struck on Queensway near the town centre at around noon.

One man was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with serious injuries - the other man suffered minor injuries.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said officers were called to the scene at 11.55am.

They said investigations into the incident are on going.
