A FAMILY have offered a 'substantial' reward for information after their Land Rover was stolen which contained priceless horse dentistry equipment.

The grey Discovery 4 was stolen from Six Ashes, near Bridgnorth just after 5.30pm last night (March 8) but was spotted in Upper Gornal, heading towards Dudley at 8.30pm.

The car contained bespoke veternary tools used by the car's owner Mat Carter, who is an equine dental technician.

The made to measure tools are said to have sentimental value and have been collected over the past 20 years of Mat's career.

Mat's wife Rachael Childs said: "We just desperately want his belongings back. It’s not just equipment, it’s his whole life’s work which has been taken."

Rachael is now appealing for information about the whereabouts of the car, and the family are offering a 'substantial' reward for the return of the tools.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the car should contact Mat on 07799394445 and the police on 101.
