A BIG-hearted Stourbridge teacher flies out to Florida today to undertake a stomach-churning skydive to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support- despite her fear of heights.

Primary school teacher Emily Gray, aged 27, will take on the gravity-defying challenge on April 19.

She was inspired to take on the challenge for the cancer charity as the disease has recently affected her friends and their families.

She has so far raised over £1,000 thanks to donations from friends, family and pupils at her school.

Now with one week to go until the big day, she hopes to push her fundraising even further.

Emily's partner Daniel Kedihan, said he was 'so proud' of Emily.

He said: "She is doing such a brave thing, she is scared of heights also, so it makes it even harder what she's doing.

"She's a full time primary school teacher that works so hard and she's worked so hard raising the money she has so far."

Stourbridge based t-shirt printing company Top Dog has printed a tee especially for the occasion.
