A 75-year-old man remains in a critical condition after being found on the tracks close to Cradley Heath train station.
Paramedics were called to Forge Lane just before 4pm yesterday afternoon (April 28) to reports of a man underneath the bridge on the tracks.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the man was found with 'significant injuries'.
A paramedic officer, an ambulance, a Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car and a Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.
The man received critical care at the scene before being taken to the major trauma centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
A spokesperson from the British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the lines close to Cradley Heath at 3.41pm on Sunday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended and a 75-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
"His family have been informed and the incident is not being treated as suspicious."
