DUDLEY Zoo is offering dads free entry this Sunday as part of its Father’s Day celebrations.

Dads will receive complimentary admission to the zoo with the purchase of a full paying adult or child by printing off a voucher from its website.

Marketing Manager Andrea Hales, said: "We’ve got lots of fabulous dads here at the zoo, including Bornean orangutan Jorong, Frank the ring-tailed lemur, Hendrix the pygmy marmoset and Chico the Brazilian tapir, so why not treat your dad with free admission to discover them for himself and learn more about our conservation work with some of the world's rarest species."

Sunday will also coincide with the attraction's World Giraffe Day celebrations as it raises funds for the Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) which works to save the Masai giraffe in Kenya and Tanzania.

Keepers will be manning an awareness stand by the giraffe paddock throughout the day, giving visitors the chance to enter a raffle to feed its two giraffes, Josie and Kubwa - who’s a dad too!

The zoo will also be donating all funds from giraffe face painting and sales from giraffe dress–up tails and ears from the day to the cause.

And if you’re stuck for a gift, adoptions are ideal last-minute presents for any animal-mad dad, with packages available for many of the zoo’s 200-strong species.
