200 TONS of household waste were set alight when a blaze ripped through a recycling waste facility in Oldbury.
Fire crews were called to the Biffa waste management site on Tat Bank Road just before 6am on July 24.
At the height of the blaze 20 firefighters from four crews were at the scene, with crews from Oldbury, Smethwick, West Bromwich and Tipton working to douse the flames.
Firefighters also used water from a nearby canal to battle the fire, along with two main water jets and two hose reel jets.
Two crews remained at the scene to dampen down the area and prevent any hot spots.
By 10am all crews had been released.
The fire is believed to be accidental, according to a West Midlands Fire Service spokesman.
