A MAN has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Prestatyn.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which took place in the early hours of Tuesday, August 6 at an address of Caradoc Road, near the Parc Prestatyn retail park.

The man, aged 43, has been taken to hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for North Wales police said: "Officers were called to an address in Caradoc Road at 4.58am on Tuesday, August 6.

"No arrests have been made and house to house enquiries are currently being conducted."

Det Insp WilI Jones said: “We are still trying to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the Caradoc Road area in the early hours of this morning to contact us.”
