A 37-YEAR-old man from Dudley has been charged following a string of attempted burglaries in Cradley Heath.
Shane Cartwright, of Cole Street, Dudley, has been charged with five counts of attempted burglary, two counts of vehicle interference and theft from a motor vehicle.
Police appealed for information last month after homes in Cradley Heath were hit by a spate of attempted burglaries in June.
Cole appeared before Walsall and Aldridge Magistrates Court on July 26 where he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
DC James Finnegan, from Force CID said, "Although we have charged a man, we continue to appeal to anyone who may have been a victim of burglary or attempted burglary around the Cradley Heath area in recent weeks to contact us with information."
