X-FACTOR star Russell Jones and Britain’s Got Talent’s Donchez Dacres will be guests of honour at Mary Stevens Hospice's annual summer fair taking place later this month.

The event on August 31 will be officially opened at 11.30am following a parade starting at 10.30am.

Children are invited to enjoy a magical afternoon tea with characters from Aladdin to Ariel as part of the Prince and Princess Afternoon Tea.

Other attractions will include an ice-cream parlour, petting zoo, coconut shy, crockery smash, gamer van and dog show.

Amanda Bowen, event organiser said: “We love to see families join us every year. The office has been very busy organising it all over the past month and we can’t wait for our supporters to enjoy everything we have got in store. It will be a day to remember.”

Each year the team strives to raise more than £10,000 from the event to help contribute towards the charity’s annual running costs of £3.2 million.

Tickets for the event will be available on the gate in Hagley Road, Oldswinford, Stourbridge.

Adult entry costs £2 per person and admission is £1 for children aged 15 and under.
