A MAN and a boy were taken to hospital after the car they were in overturned in Halesowen.
The accident happened on the junction of Manor Way and Grange Hill on Saturday (September 7) at around 9.58pm.
The car hit a lamppost and overturned - thankfully the pair were not seriously hurt and the male driver managed to get himself out of the car.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene.
"There were two patients - a man who had managed to get himself out of the car, who suffered injuries not believed to be serious and was taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
"A boy, who was the front seat passenger, also suffered injuries not thought to be serious and was also taken to Russells Hall Hospital."
West Midlands Police also attended the incident. The road was closed while a recovery operation took place.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Grange Hill/Manor Way just before 10pm on Saturday after a car hit a lamppost and overturned.
"No-one was believed to be seriously injured in the collision."
