TV comics will take to the stage in Halesowen this weekend for the latest comedy offering at Cornbow Hall, with organisers predicting it will be the best show yet.

Stand up and former Strictly contestant Seann Walsh will headline Comedy at the Cornbow on Saturday September 14, along with comedian and Britain's Got Talent finalist Daliso Chaponda.

The hotly-tipped Scott Bennett, a recent tour support for Rob Brydon, completes an eagerly anticipated triple headline bill.

Resident MC Wayne Beese, who promotes the shows under the Funny Beeseness banner, will again act as host and said it was one people should not miss.

He said: "“It will be our fifth comedy show at the Cornbow and I genuinely believe it will be the best one yet.

"Seann Walsh and Scott Bennett are probably the two best observational comics I have ever worked with, while Daliso offers a hilarious take on modern Britain through the eyes of an ‘outsider’.

“It’s as good a line-up as I have ever put together, and anyone who has bought a ticket is in for one of the best comedy gigs they will have ever been to.

“If you haven’t booked up yet don’t miss it.”

Observational comic Walsh has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats, while Malawian Chaponda finished third, then the highest placing ever for a comic, on Britain’s Got Talent in 2017.

Tom Stade, Milton Jones, Angelos Epithemiou and Rich Hall have previously headlined at the Hagley Street venue since the comedy show debuted in September 2018.

Tickets are on sale now on the Funny Beeseness website.
