A PEDESTRIAN suffered multiple injuries after being hit by a van opposite Quinton Toby Carvery.
The 26-year-old man was badly hurt in the crash yards from the busy carvery on Hagley Road West on Saturday night (September 21).
He was taken to hospital after the incident at 11pm.
Police arrested the 54-year-old van driver at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving, but he was later released with no further action.
A large section of the road was cordoned off after the incident with police appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "A pedestrian was hit by a van on Hagley Road West, Quinton, just before 11pm on Saturday.
"The 26-year-old was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.
"The van driver, 54, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving and was later released with no further action.
"Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch, quoting log 2985 of 21 September."
