A BABY giraffe has been born at Dudley Zoo.
The female giraffe arrived on Sunday, September 22 to 10-year-old mum, Josie and 18 year-old dad, Kubwa at the Castle Hill attraction.
The new arrival, who is yet to be named by zoo keepers, currently stands at 1.8 metres tall.
Jay Haywood, assistant curator, said: “Everyone at Dudley Zoological Gardens is delighted with her arrival.
“She’s been snuggled up to mum in the giraffe house for the past week, but we’re thrilled with her progress.
“She’s very inquisitive and I’m sure she’ll quickly become a firm favourite with our visitors."
The baby's name will be revealed in the coming weeks.
