MOTORISTS are being urged to use extra caution on the roads as forecasters are predicting a weekend of heavy rain and strong gales.
There was a crash this morning at Cradley Heath Railway Station involving two cars.
The incident happened around 8pm.
Drivers were being urged to avoid the area outside the station, but it has now been cleared.
BBC Weather forecaster Sarah Keith-Lucas warned of heavy showers with the risk of hail and thunder for western Scotland as well as gusty winds for the south.
Locally, outbreaks of showery rain will spread in from the west, heavy at times.
However, the rain should ease later in the day.
