The A419 Southbound is closed after a van overturned.
The incident took place between the Turnpike Junction and the White Hart Roundabout.
Police have confirmed the road will be closed between the Broad Blunsdon and South Marston turn-offs.
This will affect traffic heading towards the M4.

A tweet from Highways England said: "We are dealing with a serious road traffic collision.
"We will update you with any road closures. Please take care on approach."
A statement from the police said: "We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the southbound carriageway of the A419, close to the junction for Honda South.
"The southbound carriageway has been closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
"Traffic is already building up in the area and we are asking motorists to find alternative routes."
