A TRIAL into an alleged murder at an Oxford street has entered its closing stages.
Four men - Michael Yemane, 20, of South Bridge Row, Oxford; Welid Solomon, 25, of Field Avenue, Oxford; Sasan Mohammed Khalid, 19, of no fixed abode; and Safeen Abdullah Karimi, 28, of Hode Garth, Thame, are all on trial at Oxford Crown Court accused of murder.
They are accused of killing 22-year-old Luciano Dos Santos Almeida in Southfield Road, Oxford, shortly after 11.30pm on February 27.
Prosecutors claim that Mr Almeida was hit by a car driven by Solomon before being fatally stabbed multiple times.
Solomon also denies a further count of doing acts tending to pervert the course of justice by setting fire to a car allegedly used in the killing.

This afternoon jurors began to hear a closing speech from Crown Prosecution Service barrister Paul Cavin QC.
Next they will hear defence speeches on behalf of each of the four accused men, all of which took to the witness box earlier to give their account of what happened.
At the start of the trial last month Mr Cavin said that the four men had first hunted their victim before they 'meted out retribution' for an earlier attack.
Jurors were told that Mr Almeida was stabbed multiple times after he was run over and he later died in hospital of his injuries.
Witnesses who heard the attack said they could hear Mr Almeida scream 'help, help, help' before police swarmed on the area and paramedics arrived.
All four deny murder and the trial continues.
