A BRAND new Indian restaurant that allows foodies to watch their curry being cooked via a livestream has launched in Dudley.

Family run Dudley Spice promises a 'different' experience for curry lovers, with bosses promising a mix of traditional Indian cuisine with cutting-edge technology.

Along with live-streaming their cooking on YouTube, Dudley Spice has also launched an Uber-style app allowing curry fans to keep up to date with their delivery.

Muhammed Ali, who has opened the restaurant on New Street with his uncle Muhammed Mananan, said: "We want people to be comfortable with what they are eating, there's nothing to hide."

The family already have five restaurants over the UK, but their Dudley venture marks their first opening in the Midlands.

Muhammed said: "We know people in the Black Country love Indian cuisine, we know there is a lot of curry lovers but they are not getting the right stuff."

Along with serving popular dishes, they pride themselves on their speciality, a chicken tikka perri perri curry.

Dudley Spice is a family affair for Muhammed, who works alongside his uncle, who is proprietor and head chef of the venture, along with his son.

Mr Mananan is an award-winning chef, who has won the accolade 'Masterchef in Authentic Indian Cuisine' back in India.

Muhammed added: "We're different from everything else in the Midlands."

Dudley Spice is open now on New Street.
