A 75-YEAR-old man was hit over the head and threatened with a "handgun" during a carjacking in a Sedgley cul-de-sac.
The man was followed into Wilton Close by two men driving a car, before he was attacked and threatened with a gun.
The victim needed hospital treatment for a cut following the terrifying attack, which happened at around 9.45pm on Tuesday, December 17.
One of the offenders stole the victim's VW Polo and the other left in their getaway car.
Police said it is not yet known whether the gun was an imitation or genuine firearm.
West Midlands Police are now appealing for information and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or the offenders making off to get in touch via Live Chat at WMP Online or call 101.
