A DUDLEY woman was hit with a community order after admitting assaulting a police officer.

Kirsty Wilkes, aged 27, of Cherry Green, Dudley, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable by beating at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court. She received a community order with a curfew and was also ordered to pay £30 in compensation.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.

Stephen Emanuel, aged 27, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to harassing Samantha Griffiths by sending unwanted messages by Whatsapp and text. He was jailed for 12 weeks due to previous offending and was made subject to a restraining order. He was also ordered to pay a £122 surcharge.

Simon Chater, aged 36, of Shelton Lane, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to causing unlawful damage to a silver Mitsubishi Space Star. He also admitted to driving without insurance and with an obscured registration plate. He received a community order and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He also received a restraining order and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months. Chater was also ordered to pay £75 in compensation.

Sergejs Akisevs, aged 48, of St Marys Road, Bearwood was found guilty of driving a van over the legal alcohol limit in Dudley. He received a community order with a curfew and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 50 months. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £840.

David Webb, aged 41, of Lomond Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to guilty to assaulting a police constable by beating. He was fined £150 and also ordered to pay £30 in compensation, a £32 surcharge and £185 in costs.

Jamie Boot, aged 29, of Oakfield Road, Wollescote, pleaded guilty to driving over the legal alcohol limit. He received a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 24 months and was also ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £230.

Pavendeep Singh, aged 22, of Manor Abbey Road, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Carters Lane. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months and was ordered to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £347.

Shawn Smith, aged 36, of Resevoir Road, Rowley Regis, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing from Aldi in Dudley. He received a community order and must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £154.26 in compensation, a surcharge and costs.
