A ROWLEY Regis family had their festive period ruined by burglars.
Thieves struck at the home in Mincing Lane and made off with a haul of jewellery and a camera.
PCSO Darren Rowley said: "The thieves have gone into the rear garden, climbed on a flat roof and have smashed a window to gain entry.
"We would like to remind residents thieves don't take Christmas off and will be on the look out for opportunities."
West Midlands Police has launched an appeal for witnesses.
A spokesman said: "Police are investigating a burglary in Mincing Lane, Rowley Regis, which happened sometime between December 25-28.
"Burglars forced their way into a home and made off with jewellery and a camera."
