MIDLAND Ancestors Stourbridge Branch is holding a talk on the life and times of wild west adventurer and showman Buffalo Bill Cody.

The legendary cowboy was reputed to have stopped off at The Plough in Bridgnorth Road, Wollaston, when he brought his famous circus to England in the 1890s.

A talk about his colourful life will be given by Neil Brazier at St Peter’s Centre in Pedmore on Saturday January 25.

Doors open at 2pm and the talk starts at 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

The event is free - but a donation is gratefully accepted.
