A STOURBRIDGE businessman is hoping witnesses or anyone with information may come forward after vandals smashed up shop windows in Lower High Street.

Cushillo Personnel recruitment consultants and floral design and venue styling business Every Occasion were targeted sometime between Friday night (January 17) and Saturday morning (January 18).

Shop front windows at both businesses suffered extensive damage and Jason Connon, managing director at Cushillo Personnel, said: "The glass was reinforced toughened glass, so some considerable force and the use of some blunt object would need to have been used to cause the damage.

"This would have created a lot of noise and we are hoping either the residents who live opposite or anyone in the area may of seen something."

He added: "We have never been targeted before and I don’t know if this was just drunken vandalism or deliberate.

"The incident has been reported to police who are conducting further enquiries."

Anyone who saw the incident or who has any information is urged to contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
