A COMMUNITY library is set to close for three weeks as it undergoes “essential maintenance”.
Blackrod Library, in Church Street, will be shut from Monday, February 17, until Saturday, March 7.
This is to allow engineers to repair the roof of the building.
Visitors with library cards can still use other library services in Bolton while the Blackrod facility is closed.
In a statement posted on Facebook, a spokesman for Bolton Library and Museum Services said: “Blackrod Library will be closed for essential maintenance from Monday, February 17, to Saturday, March 7.
“The library will reopen on Monday 9 March.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Anyone with any questions about the closure has been advised to call 01204 333173.
Alternatively, to find another library to visit in the borough, go online to www.boltonlams.co.uk.
