A SON appeared in court this week charged with murdering his mother and stepfather at the couple's home in Oldbury.
Anmol Chana, 25, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday (March 2) for a preliminary hearing.
The case was put off to Friday May 15 when Chana will enter a plea to the double murder charges.
If he enters a not-guilty plea a two-week trial will start at the court on August 10.
Chana's mother Jasbir Kaur, aged 52, and her husband Rupinder Singh Bassan, aged 51, were found dead at their semi-detached house in Moat Road, Oldbury, in the West Midlands, on Tuesday (February 25).
Chana, of Hamilton Road, Smethwick, had previously appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court charged with murdering the couple between February 21 and 26.
Mrs Kaur and her husband were found dead by police who entered the home at 4am after responding to a report of concern for their welfare.
