A SIXTH person has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Westcliff.

Mitchell Harris, 29, of Hornsey Road, Holloway, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated burglary.

The charge comes after Asqeri Spaho died during a disturbance at a property on Tintern Avenue, Westcliff, at around 4.25am on Thursday December 12 last year.

The other men, Scott Heaney 22, of Hurlock Street, Highbury, Brian Kincloch, 31, of Beachcroft Way, Upper Holloway, Wesley Hendrickson, 31, of Ashcroft Close in Enfield, Leon Wright, 31, of Highbury New Park, and Durald Sokoli, 27, of Ayley Croft, Enfield, have been charged with the same offences.

They are due to stand trial at Basildon Crown Court later this year.

A 31-year-old man from Tottenham, arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and possession of cannabis, has since been released under investigation. 

Two 21-year-old men arrested in connection with our investigation have since been released without charge.
