A NEW Burger King is coming to Oldbury - with construction having already started.
The fast food giant is opening a new restaurant with a drive-thru on Oldbury Green Retail Park, close to Oldbury town centre.
Site owner BlackRock UK Property Fund Ltd was granted planning permission in January to build a single-storey fast food restaurant with a drive-thru next, which will be occupied by Burger King.
The restaurant, next to the Homebase store, will take out 32 spaces.
Building work is underway, with the frame of the restaurant already up.
The retail park, which boasts a Poundland, Next, Shoezone, Pets at Home, Carpetright, Bargain Buys, Food Warehouse, Smyths Toys, Costa, Greggs, Card Factory and The Carphone Warehouse, will still have 504 car parking spaces after the Burger King store opens.
The Halesowen News has contacted Burger King for details of when the restaurant will be ready to open its doors.
