THERE are just a few days left for children to submit their entries for MP Mike Wood's competition which invites youngsters to design a poster thanking NHS workers for their service during the coronavirus pandemic.

Dudley South MP Mr Wood is inviting school children to get creative and design a poster to say a big thank you to hard-working doctors, nurses, cleaners, cooks, porters and all the other staff working in the NHS.

The Conservative MP has teamed up with Stourbridge and Dudley News to organise the competition as a way of honouring the dedicated service provided by frontline workers amid the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The deadline for entries is Friday June 26.

Mr Wood said: "There are still a few days left to enter our Dudley poster competition and say a big thank you to our NHS for looking after us during the COVID outbreak.

"Local children have until Friday to design and submit a poster thanking our doctors, nurses, cleaners, cooks, porters and all the other staff working in the NHS.

"I look forward to shortlisting entries and seeing the winning poster displayed proudly around town - be it in our local GP surgeries, shops or home windows."

Entries can be sent by post to 111a High Street, Wordsley, DY8 5QR, or email them to mike.wood.mp@parliament.uk.

The best posters will be shortlisted and the public will be asked to help pick a winner.

We will then print the winning poster which can be cut out and displayed in surgeries, shops and home windows.
