A HUGE outdoor inflatable fun park has opened for children in Halesowen.

The inflatable zone at Soccer Zone in Park Road, opened at the start of the month.

It is based at the 5-a-side facility, which is run by former Albion player Nigel Quashie and his partner Kerry Clarke (pictured below with their son Brayden).

The family also runs Boing Zone trampoline parks - which has had to close its businesses temporarily due to Covid-19 restrictions.

They have moved half the equipment from Inflatable Zone Birmingham which is currently closed - to the outdoor facility in Halesowen - making it the largest outdoor inflatable park in the UK.

Kerry said: "It's going really well. We have had people travelling from hours away - and we've had really nice feedback.

"It's outdoors - it's so nice to be out in the fresh air and the council has been and checked it all and they are happy - we have gone above and beyond making sure everyone is safe.

"There's only 85 people allowed on at a time which is over 30,000 square feet, which allows lot of space for people to socially distance.

"Adults are allowed on, but only with a child and must stay within their family bubble and wear a visor.

"Nigel is there every day and is happy to have socially-distanced pictures taken with visitors!"

Here's how users are being kept safe:

• The booking capacity of the venue is operating at a reduced level, with online bookings only.

• No cash payments will be accepted in the venue. All food/drinks orders will be done via the online Ordoo app and orders are served to tables.

• Tables are two-metres apart.

• Adults must wear a thin plastic visor if on the inflatable equipment.

• Hand sanitiser is required before and after entry

• Adults will be expected to maintain social distancing from any other adults.

• A one-way system is in operation

• Hand sanitiser is required before and after entry

• Additional toilet facilities have been installed.
