FOUR men were arrested following a dramatic police chase that ended in Netherton.
Officers from Brierley Hill station were called to reports of a robbery in Dudley on Monday (August 24), where a man was allegedly assaulted.
The suspects made off in an Audi A3, crashing into another car as they made their escape, PC Jamie Follows said.
Police said that while they were speaking with the victim, the Audi was involved in another robbery in Rowley Regis where the keys to another car were snatched.
Officers later tracked the Audi down at Saltwells Road in Netherton where they blocked the car in at traffic lights to prevent a pursuit.
The driver of the Audi drove into the police car in an attempt to escape, before all of the occupants ran off, PC Follows said via the the West Midlands Police Neighbourhood Alert system.
The four occupants of the car were caught after a foot chase and all were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
