A STOURBRIDGE cyclist claims he had a brick thrown at him by two men in a car as he cycled towards Amblecote.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Friday September 11, near the Tesco Express store, a man reported on the social networking site Next Door.

He said: "I was cycling towards Amblecote when two men in a black car threw a brick at me and tried to knock me off my bike."

The man, who was riding along the A491 Amblecote High Street when the incident happened, said the men were travelling in a black Mercedes car and they also shouted abuse at him.

He described both the driver and passenger as being of Indian descent and said the driver had a short black beard.

The cyclist said he reported the incident to police.
