HOMES in Oldbury and Halesowen smashed their guide prices when they went to auction.
A three-bed semi in Windsor Road, Oldbury and a house in Stourdell Road, Halesowen, went to auction earlier this month.
The Oldbury home, (pictured at top of article) which had a guide of £74k actually went almost £100k above its guide price, eventually selling for £170k at the Bond Wolfe virtual auction.
The three-bedroom semi-detached home in Stourdell Road, Halesowen, (pictured above) which had a guide price of between £90k and £98k sold for £141k at a Cottons Auctions sale.
It needs a bit of TLC.
The sales notes stated that it has three double bedrooms and a large rear garden but requires "modernisation and improvement."
