The two men wearing helmets were seen trying to force their way into garages on Mucklow Hill and Halesowen Road.
Halesowen police sent out a warning and appealed for residents to check their CCTV to see if they can spot the men or their motorbike.

"The two males were disturbed by residents at The Grange and made good their escape on the motorcycle with nothing stolen.
"As ever, with darker nights approaching, we would ask to make sure all your belongings area away out of sight and secured accordingly, giving no access to any potential opportunists.
