A BODY found in the River Severn is believed to be that of a man who went missing from a farm near Stourport two weeks ago.

The body was spotted in the river in Shrawley on Friday, September 25 by a passerby who then alerted the emergency services.

Although a formal identification has not taken place, police strongly believe it to be 29-year-old Pavel Zukowski, who went missing from a farm in Great Witley, near Stourport, on September 16.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "The body of a man has been found in the River Severn at Shrawley, near Worcester.
