AREAS in and around Stourbridge have recorded multiple new coronavirus cases.

The latest data published by Public Health England shows which areas in Stourbridge and surrounding have recorded three new cases or more between September 19 and September 25 – the latest data available.

Wollaston recorded 3 cases, while nearby Amblecote West and Stambermill recorded nine and Kingswinford North and Wall Heath both recorded seven new cases.

Stourbridge Town & Old Quarter was not on the map as it recorded 0-2 cases - while the week before (Sep 11-17) it was the only area in the town which recorded more than three cases - with it recording five new cases.

The figures are split into several "middle super output areas" – zones that are slightly larger than postcode areas with an average population of around 7,200 people.

Areas with fewer than two cases are not highlighted by Public Health England in its figures.

Lye and Wynall - 3

Amblecote West and Stambermill - 9

Amblecote East - 5

Withymoor Village - 3

Hawbush - 3

Wordsley and Buckpool - 5

Kingswinford North - 7

Wall Heath - 7

Stourbridge Town and Old Quarter, Norton North, Norton South, Kingswinford South, Pensnett and Kingswinford East, Brierley Hill, Hagley and Kinver all recorded 0-2 cases so are not highlighted on the map.
