A STOURBRIDGE man who caused £200 worth of damage to a car has been hit with a bill for £669. Owais Mohammed Tahir of Bent Street, Brierley Hill, admitted damaging a Fiat Punto belonging to Assanain Shabbir. He was fined £300, ordered to pay £200 compensation, £135 costs and £34 victim surcharge.

A HALESOWEN man has been told to carry out unpaid work and pay £275 after admitting assault, criminal damage and using violence to force his way into premises.

Shaun Anthony Whitehouse, aged 28, of Woodland Road, pleaded guilty to damaging a window and mobile phone worth £500 belonging to Amelia Jones. He also admitted assaulting her and using violence to secure entry into premises on Alma Street against the wishes of the occupant.

He was ordered to carry out unpaid work for 84 hours on the three charges, and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £185 costs.

A DUDLEY man has been jailed after being caught with a knuckle duster and drugs while subject to a community service order.

Kurt Oakley, aged 29, of Russells Hall Road, had cocaine and cannabis when stopped in Stepping Stone Street in May.

He also admitted driving a vehicle while over the drug-drive limit and without the proper license and insurance and was disqualified for a year.

He was jailed for a total of 153 days for the weapon and drug possession offences.

A DUDLEY man has been ordered to pay £200 compensation after damaging the window of a council house in Lower Gornal. Richard Taylor, aged 36, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, pleaded guilty to criminal damage.

Atheer Nafie, age 38, of Russell Street, Dudley, was ordered to pay £200 compensation after pleading guilty to causing damage worth that amount to a police cell at Oldbury.

Trying to steal £157 worth of cosmetics has cost a Dudley woman £269 in fines and court costs.

Romanian Angela Gheorghe, aged 48, of Highfield Road, admitted theft from Asda at Wednesbury Oak and was fined £100 and ordered to pay £135 costs and £34 victim surcharge.
