POLICE have raided a huge cannabis farm in Lye.

Officers found 1,000 cannabis plants at a unit in Lye yesterday (Saturday October 17).

Stourbridge Police tweeted about the successful raid that: "Large cannabis factory approx 1000 plants discovered in a unit in Lye this afternoon.

"Intelligence work resulted in a warrant being executed."

Dudley police Chief Superintendent Kim Madill said: "Fantastic work everyone!

"Thanks to the community for the intelligence - keep it coming and we’ll keep taking the drugs off the streets."
