A Remembrance Day card designed by a local woman is helping to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

The cards designed by former Halesowen College student Maisie Stokes are available from Black Country cards of via Maisie herself.

The design has drawings of crosses and soldiers contained within the shape of an artillery shell, by far the most deadly weapon during the first world war.

Her cards are priced at £1.50 each with 50p from each sale going to Legion. They come with an envelope. The size of the cards are 15cmx 21cm gloss finish and in a cellophane cover.

She is also in the process of designing other Black Country Cards for all those special occasions.
