HIGHWAYS chiefs say the Lye bypass slip road will temporarily closed until Monday while work to repair a collapsed manhole is completed.
A temporary road closure order has been made for the slip road into Dudley Road and left turns into Dudley Road from the bypass are currently prohibited.
The closure will be in place until Monday November 23, traffic chiefs say.
Access will be maintained where safe.
The alternative route for traffic will be straight ahead across Dudley Road on the Lye Bypass, Vicarage Road South, Lye High Street and Dudley Road (northbound).
