ELDERLY people in Kinver will still be getting their Christmas vouchers to spend in village shops despite the coronavirus crisis.
The vouchers for Kinver residents of state pension age, sponsored by the Ken Wrigley Trust and other village charities, will be given out next week on Friday December 4 from 9am to 2pm at the Senior Citizens Rooms in Legion Drive.
Proof of a Kinver address such as a current utility bill and proof that a portion of council tax is paid to Kinver Parish Council is required.
Anyone unable to attend can send a representative, plus ID, on their behalf.
People collecting vouchers are urged to wear a facemask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
This year, due to concerns about coronavirus, those unable to attend or wishing not to venture out can have their vouchers posted out.
Anyone wishing to obtain their voucher by post is asked to give details to Val Davis by emailing valdaviskinver@gmail.com or calling 07746 223745.
