CCTV shows the car being parked on Charter Street and a man leaving the area on foot.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen the man in the images or may have seen the car in the days after it was stolen.

Laura Stevens-Toon, from Leicestershire Police, said: “We are continuing investigations to establish the full circumstances.

“The car was stolen in the early evening when people may have been out and about.

“It was then parked on Charter Street during the day and we urge anyone who may have seen the car being driven or the man shown in the CCTV to get in touch.”
